Magnificent Mushroom Experience


A night to remember!  Learn about the local fungi that is available in Muskoka, then taste the magic that is mushrooms! 


Starting off with a guided mushroom forage with mycologist expert, Nadia Dubeau.   On this walk you will learn about the edible (and not edible) mushrooms in season.  Nadia will teach you techniques for foraging sustainably, how to make spore prints and how to preserve mushrooms.  The mushrooms you collect on the walk are yours to take home!  The walk will talke 1.5-2hrs.  It is a slow walk to spot the mushrooms.  Stepping over puddles and logs may be required.


After the walk, foragers will be treated to a mushroom sensation!  A coursed mushroom dinner at a private cottage on Six Mile Lake. 


The menu is accompanied with carefully selected wine pairings.
