About the event
It is difficult to pick a genre to describe the music of Leah Leslie. Her song list includes familiar folk, blues
and country, jazz treasures and a few originals, including a ballad to delight anyone who has experienced
a small-town bar: “Sprucedale Hotel.”
Leah is a Huntsville, Ontario native who has travelled coast-to-coast in Canada and the US with her
constant companion, a 1976 Grit Laskin acoustic guitar. The road took her to clubs where she shared the
stage with musicians as diverse as Stan Rogers and Jeff Healey.
